Role Overview:
As a QA Engineer, you'll lead quality assurance efforts, designing comprehensive testing strategies and managing QA operations to ensure robust, reliable, and user-centric products. This role heavily emphasizes automation testing, UI consistency, responsiveness, and product reliability. You'll collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product teams to maintain high-quality standards and streamline the QA process.
Your Profile:
Experience: 5+ years as a QA Engineer, with at least 2+ years supporting a user-focused web3 product.
QA Expertise: Experience with various test types including unit, functional, performance, security, and end-to-end tests, with a strong emphasis on automated web application testing.
QA Leadership: Proven ability to build a QA function/program from the ground up.
Test Frameworks: Proficiency with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and/or JMeter.
Self-Motivation & Autonomy: Ability to work independently and proactively drive tasks forward.
Innovative Thinking: Adept at identifying challenges and implementing prompt, effective solutions.
Clear Communication: Strong collaboration skills and ability to articulate ideas effectively.
Interest in DeFi: Genuine curiosity and understanding of cryptocurrency and trading trends.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience with trading platforms, DeFi, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with memecoin trading on Solana and related market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation & Component Testing: Implement robust automation testing for high-quality frontend components.
Responsive Design & Cross-Browser Testing: Ensure consistent user experience across all devices and browsers.
High-Frequency Data Update Testing: Validate UI responsiveness and stability under heavy data loads.
Integration Testing & Trade Execution Validation: Conduct thorough end-to-end testing, including trade execution flows.
QA Leadership & Test Organization: Establish and maintain structured, efficient QA operations.
Mock API Development & CI Pipeline Optimization: Enhance testing predictability via API mocking and optimize execution through CI pipelines.
