About the Opportunity

This international organization is seeking a talented SAP Consultant specializing in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) to enhance their international trade and sales operations. The role demands a proactive individual who can navigate complex compliance landscapes and drive efficiencies in a rapidly evolving global business environment. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to optimizing trade processes and integrating innovative SAP solutions, contributing to the overall success and competitive edge of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP GTS implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

• Analyze business requirements and design scalable SAP solutions tailored to international trade.

• Configure SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management and Risk Management.

• Support the transition from SAP GTS 2023 for HANA with SAP ECC to S/4HANA.

• Monitor SAP S/4HANA International Trade module developments for potential GTS replacement.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure integration with other SAP modules (MM, FI, etc.).

• Provide technical documentation and training while offering 2nd level support to end users.

• Monitor and resolve system issues to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

• Stay current with SAP innovations and best practices related to GTS.

Required Skills

• Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Informatics, or equivalent experience

• Hands-on experience in SAP GTS

• Proven track record in SAP configuration and consultancy / project delivery

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA

• Understanding of international trade regulations and compliance (preferred)

• Familiarity with EDI and integration technologies

• Project management experience (preferred)

• Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin or German is advantageous
